When you are working as a teacher of English as a foreign language it is sometimes difficult to show your students just how diversified English actually is. There are a multitude of different dialects in England alone. Many believe that there is only one american dialect and so on. I'm also hindered by my own limitations, I speak a passable British English, and have very little knowledge of American English.
When thinking about how to show this I had an idea. What if I could collect lots of readings of the same text, in different dialects and then we could listen and discuss these in class?
This is my humble try to do just that.
Niclas
