Since I had a mishap with my originally planned lesson, I very quickly put together something with my recordings.
I had my class listen to six of the recordings, then try to classify them as either American, Australian or British.
Best result was 4 out of 6, which is really good.
They found it difficult but interesting. Most were more comfortable with the American accents than the others. They all agreed that this was because of films and television.
I will return with a better planned lesson.
As of now I have 7 recordings, and would dearly like more.
